The Bearcats top Men's & Women's teams compete in the SA Premier League, the top basketball competition for South Australia's elite men's teams. The League is played between March and August and includes 10 clubs from metropolitan Adelaide.

GALA EVENT - POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH 2022

The West Adelaide Bearcats' 75th Anniversary Gala Night which was to be held on Saturday 30 October 2021 has been postponed until March 2022 (exact date TBC).
​
The decision has been taken because of the potential for further COVID lockdowns and the imposition of crowd and other restrictions which will mean the event is not the best it possibly can be.
​

Nominations for the Bearcats Hall of Fame are still currently open and close on Friday 17 September 2021.
