U16/18 SKILL SESSIONS

Calling all U16/18 athletes - we've got some high intensity, high rep, skill development workouts for you this school holidays.

Run by some of our D1 Leads, these sessions will be sure to push you to your limits.

IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The Bearcats can bring a basketball presence to your school in a number of ways including:

The Sporting Schools Program
A "Basketball Day" at school
Help with your school teams
Aussie Hoops

Importantly, all Bearcats basketball programs are delivered by qualified and experienced West Adelaide coaches, with Police Checks and DCSI clearances. We also understand each school operates under different circumstances – West Adelaide can customise our basketball program to suit your school’s abilities and needs.

Programs we offer:

Sporting Schools
West Adelaide is an authorised Sporting Schools provider. If you gain Sporting Schools funding, we can offer a variety of in-school programs, from 4-weeks through to a full term. These can be held either before, during or after school hours. When you submit your application for Sporting Schools funding please make it clear you would like the Bearcats to deliver your program!

Day clinics
Why not have a "basketball day" at your school? We can visit your school and operate Basketball Clinics aimed at introducing students of all ages to the game. Each session will run for 45mins for Rec-YR7. We can run these sessions as a PE lessons or through normal class time. We will provide two coaches for each session at a cost of $150 per session.

School team
We can provide a Training Session to assist with the skill development of your school teams. This can be a standalone visit or over consecutive weeks.

Aussie Hoops
We can even run a full Aussie Hoops program at your school, as an after-school, term-long program run for 45 minutes weekly for children aged 5-10. Aussie Hoops is a national program aimed at introducing beginners to basketball in a fun and safe environment.
